This week two of your favorite millennials are talking about the infamous video game movie curse! With Sonic the Hedgehog out in theaters we felt it was a good time to talk about how there has never been a critical hit film based on a video game, with maybe the exception of Detective Pikachu and the Angry Birds movie. What makes it so hard to adapt? Should video games be adapted to film or maybe TV shows, like we saw with The Witcher?

Parasite won big at the Oscars Sunday night, and Willoughby and HT react to Bong Joon Ho’s historic sweep! Plus a discussion of the second year without a host, the unexpected and expected wins, and a recommendation list of excellent Korean movies to check out.
